Atlantix Global Systems Awarded Erasure Certification Verification by Kroll Ontrack

Atlantix Global Systems announced today that it has completed a substantial Erasure Verification project with Kroll Ontrack—the world’s leading data recovery company. The project involved forensic analysis of several types of devices, including SATA and SAS HDDs as well as SSDs from leading business technology manufacturers. Kroll Ontrack’s findings at the conclusion of the project were that no recoverable data was found after Atlantix performed its erasure procedure.
“This endeavor on behalf of Atlantix showcases their commitment to data security. There are many ways to erase data and we have seen firsthand that some of these solutions are not effective or at least not fully effective,” said Jeff Pederson, senior manager, data recovery engineering, Kroll Ontrack, Inc. “Using comprehensive analytics and our proprietary data recovery tools, Kroll Ontrack is able to confirm and verify that all data is gone.”
Kroll Ontrack provides technology-driven services and software for organizations to manage, recover, search, analyze, and produce data efficiently and cost-effectively. In addition, Kroll Ontrack provides data recovery, data destruction, electronic discovery and document review.
“The validation from Kroll Ontrack continues our evolution and focus in regards to data security for our global clients,” said Brian Glahn, president and chief executive officer, Atlantix Global Systems.
