Betting Update; FA Cup betting with the bookmakers making Chelsea their 2/1 favourites

Feb. 13, 2007 – Due to there being three games still to be settled from the fourth round there are 19 teams still in contention to play the first game at the new Wembley when the FA Cup Final returns home.

The main story surrounding the draw is that Chelsea, Manchester United and providing Arsenal get by Bolton have all been awarded home ties for the second round in a row.
There are three all-Premiership clashes that see Londoners Fulham and Spurs play at Craven Cottage, Man Utd host Premiership new-boys Reading, while Arsenal or Bolton will entertain Blackburn.

In the betting Chelsea and Man Utd have shortened slightly due to their home draws into 2/1 and 5/2 respectively, while Arsenal have drifted to 13/2 as they have to face two Premiership sides if they want to make it into the quarter-finals.

Of the rest Middlesbrough, who still have to get by Bristol City are around 22/1 with a home tie against WBA waiting for them, while Championship high-flyers Derby, who face Plymouth, are available at around 100/1.

Fifth Round Draw

Watford v Ipswich
Preston v Man City
Plymouth v Derby County
Man Utd v Reading
Arsenal or Bolton v Blackburn
Bristol City or Middlesbrough v West Bromwich Albion
Fulham v Tottenham
