Marquee pattern headlines the textile line’s 25th anniversary collection.
Chicago, IL, August 05, 2015 –(PR.com)– Summer may be winding down, but for Brentano, the celebration’s just begun. On August 1, the textile house marks its 25th anniversary with the release of the fall Jubilee collection. At once a reflection on Brentano’s past, a milestone and a celebration, the 20 new textile patterns combine cool, contemporary styling and techniques with a beautiful, personal warmth and touch.
As a headliner for the Jubilee collection, Marquee reads loud and clear with its bold coloring and dramatic, Greek-key inspired geometry. As compelling up close as from a distance, the 52” upholstery fabric weaves two thick, alternating colors of rayon yarns on a cotton warp for a beautifully natural hand. The stitch-like tapestry texture passes 50,000 double rubs (Wyzenbeek, Cotton Duck) with a Teflon finish for hotel and commercial projects.
The Brentano Design Studio, led by Iris Wang, celebrates 25 years in 2015. The textile house has grown from a modest eight patterns in 1990 into an international source for polyurethane faux leather, outdoor, Crypton, Nano-Tex and GreenShield-finished, eco-friendly and fire retardant products. The carefully curated line reflects Iris’ lifelong study of fine art, nature and Asian philosophy in beautiful, high-performing solutions for the contract, hospitality, healthcare and residential markets.
