Buy Me A Drink App for Android has finally arrived with groundbreaking upgrades. The app has experienced exponential growth and is now the first in Asia Pacific to incorporate Braintree payment system.
Singapore, Singapore, July 31, 2015 –(PR.com)– Buy Me A Drink is finally making its debut for Android on July 30, 2015. Until now, Singapore’s fastest growing social mobile wallet was only available to iPhone users on The App Store. Students of Nanyang Technological University will be the first to download and experience the app on Android when it is unveiled at a closed event this Thursday.
The Android version is the first in Asia Pacific to introduce one-touch mobile payment to purchase drinks at bars all over Singapore. Thanks to Braintree, BMD users can now securely top up their e-wallet with their credit card and spend those credits at any of the participating BMD partner venues, at a discount while minimizing the waiting time by 40%. With less time paying and more time partying, consumers can conveniently send drinks to their friends anywhere and at anytime in the world. Drinks can also be sent to a fellow party person who is checked-in at the same party spot.
“Android is a milestone for us, and the NTU event is the perfect opportunity to let our users experience the new Buy Me a Drink,” said Silvana Carpanelli Hayes, Chief Party Officer and Founder of this Singapore based app. She added “Transitioning from a nightlife social network to being the only social mobile wallet around has been an interesting ride, we are glad to have had the support of Braintree throughout the process.”
In our technologically driven world where ‘cashless is king’ reigns, bars and consumers can have a peace of mind when ordering and paying from Buy Me A Drink app. BMD partner venues have since experienced smoother and faster transactions while eliminating any operational breaches. Consumers will no longer be overcharged or have their bills mixed up with another party’s.
The new Buy Me A Drink App for Android is available on Google Play on July 24, 2015. A series of demonstrations are scheduled around Singapore and the public can expect many free drinks just by downloading the app.
