Nov. 13, 2006 – Recruitment Challenge thrown out to Essex Agencies
Daniel Corby, the founder and CEO of 118 Group plc – the b2b services group responsible for 118trades, 118gethitched, 118telecoms, 118mobile and Fido Magazine, a new free to pick up community magazine has thrown a challenge out to the recruitment industry as it seeks 200 additional sales people
Speaking about the challenge, Daniel Corby CEO 118 Group said “We are experiencing growth across all of our product lines and companies and we’re looking to recruit an additional 150 staff to start immediately. 95% of the roles are sales based roles and based in Chelmsford, where we operate from 2 sites in the town. We are looking for recruitment agencies to find us an absolute first class pool of talent on which to grow our business with. We operate a league system for the agencies and top agencies are rewarded each week with magnums of Champagne and daily newsletters keep them upto date on which agency is billing the most in fees to the business. The requirement is massive and it is now. Where we’re different to most businesses is that we openly allow recruitment agencies to use our own offices to help them recruit, so it really is a case of working together. We are currently working with agencies across Essex, but have positions for further agencies, who should contact Brad Chapman on 07812 115 970 to arrange an appointment.
The roles cover sales rolls with 118trades, 118gethitched, 118telecom and Fido Magazine, our publishing off shoot”
Daniel Corby continued “Fido is a brand that we feel could be rolled out nationally in due course, and we expect to have around 20 towns launched and covered by May or June 2007”
