Dec. 10, 2006 – The author St0rmshadow of the Washington State DUI Blog was recognized by the Washington State Law & Politics magazine as a “Rising Star Attorney” for the year 2007.
This is the fourth consecutive year St0rmshadow has earned this recognition. Even though St0rmshadow no longer practices law actively, he still impacts the legal community. He produces Washington State DUI Information < http://www.seattle-duiattorney.com/ >and the blog Washington State DUI Blog < http://www.seattle-duiattorney.com/blog.html > to spread awareness and caution about the dangers of drinking and driving. Through education St0rmshadow hopes to prevent a driver from making a terrible mistake.
Having developed a reputation with judges and defense lawyers alike as an aggressive, thoroughly prepared prosecutor, he was rapidly becoming one of the most highly respected trial lawyers for the Seattle City Attorney’s Criminal Division when he was asked to went into private practice. He had spent two years in the trenches with the prosecutor’s office that tries more criminal cases than any other office in the state while gaining invaluable insight into prosecutorial tactics and the defense of misdemeanor crimes.
He graduated from Western Washington University in 1996 and from the Seattle University School of Law in 1999. He was named a state of Washington “Rising Star” by the publication “Washington Law & Politics” in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. He also received recognition by the publication Seattle Magazine selecting him as one of Seattles Top Lawyers in 2005.
