Dune Dogs Scheduled For March 10 Show At Hideaway BBQ Restaurant

March 5, 2007 – RALEIGH, N.C. – The Dune Dogs are scheduled to perform Saturday, March 10 at 9 p.m. at the new Hideaway BBQ restaurant in Raleigh located on 2210 Capital Blvd. The band, which consists of area executives playing “country-fried swamp ‘n’ roll” music, will play tunes from their latest recording, Live from Karolina Kountry Klub Trailer Park (available in 8-track or cassette), as well as such past favorite Dune Dog hits as “Ain’t No Train to Ocracoke,” “You’re Drunk, You Stink, Get Off Me,” and “I Ain’t from Austin, Texas (But I Sure Miss Fuquay-Varina).”

The Dune Dogs are: Dusty Baker (guitar, bass, vocals); “Hillbilly” Dickerson (guitar, bass, vocals); JimChris Dott (bass, keyboards, mandolin, vocals); Finchman (vocals, harmonics); Double “R” (guitar); Dick Turben (drums, percussion, vocals); and Trent D. Goatboy (drums, bass, banjo, percussion, vocals). The March 10 show represents the band’s first return to the Hideaway BBQ in Raleigh since their sold-out Dune Dogs Holiday Extravaganza held on Dec. 21, 2006.
