Award-winning international architecture firm Francis Cauffman announced that Carol Karasek, AIA, has been appointed Principal, Science and Technology.

Karasek is a practice leader with 35 years of experience in the programming, design, and delivery of research and clinical facilities. Her specialty is the design of academic medical centers engaged in translational research. This emerging model integrates basic science and clinical studies, leading to more meaningful health outcomes.

Karasek has a Master of Architecture from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University. She is licensed in New York, California, and Connecticut.
