Mesa, AZ, May 08, 2015 –(PR.com)– Kids Need to Read (KNTR) is proud to host a Grand Opening at their brand new headquarters located at 2450 W. Broadway Road, Suite 110. The Open House will take place on Tuesday, May 12th from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Executive Director Denise Gary will formally welcome their guests at 4:30 P.M; followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony with members of the Mesa Chamber of Commerce at 4:45 P.M.
The new facility provides additional space to expand KNTR’s efforts to improve childhood literacy across the nation. Many wonderful, brand new industrial shelves now house the thousands of books coming and going through their doors to benefit the libraries, schools, communities, and children that need them. In addition, KNTR has added a story time/event/meeting space complete with colorful shelves, literacy art prints and books.
KNTR is encouraging all supporters and interested community members to visit during the Open House to learn more about the charity and the work they do; including information about current and upcoming programs. This will also provide an opportunity to mingle with staff, volunteers, and members of the KNTR Board of Directors over light refreshments; compliments of event sponsor Literologie and Costco.
Guests can enter to win a door prize raffle. All prizes are donated by Bonny Books, Changing Hands Bookstore, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, Out of Print, and Phoenix Comicon. Each guest will receive one free raffle ticket; additional tickets are available for purchase.
KNTR wishes to thank Mesa Chamber of Commerce and all of the donors for providing items to make the Grand Opening a success.
