Dec. 28, 2006 – Russian national award ‘Brand of the Year’ is a part of the international system EFFIE – the most authoritative world award in the field of marketing communications which is held in 30 countries of the world. This contest marks off the most successful projects in the field of brand development in the Russian market.
This year the laureate of the award was also the B2B project ‘Home Alone’ which was developed by ‘Zarkin and Partners’ branding agency (Saint-Petersburg, Russia) for the Moscow ‘Unitest’ Company – leader in the field of fire alarm production. The contest diploma was presented to the founder of the agency Gene Zarkin.
The New Year party for the Saint-Petersburg prize-winners was held on 22d of December in the ‘Tribunal’ bar. The participants were congratulated by the event’s organizer, the director of ‘Onyx’ advertising group, Boris Lapenok.
‘Tribunal’ bar was visited by the representatives the companies that are famous in St. Petersburg, such as ‘Chainaya Lozhka’, ‘TELE2’, ‘Teremok’, ‘Delovoi Peterburg’ and others. ‘Zarkin and Partners’ branding agency was represented by its founder Gene Zarkin and the development director Xenia Ganuta. Accompanied by clinking of the wineglasses, they told the participants story of PR contest and victory of ‘Home Alone’ brand over the world leader, Italian ‘System Sensor’ company.
