Phoenix, AZ, May 08, 2015 –(PR.com)– Reverend Scott Ritchey has received a new appointment within the Desert Southwest Conference of The United Methodist Church, effective July 1, 2015.
Reverend Ritchey began serving as the Executive Director of Justa Center when the organization opened its doors in 2006. In that time, Justa Center has grown from 4 employees and 12 members to 15 employees providing care and assistance to over 130 members a day.
A non-profit day-resource center for seniors aged 55 and older who are homeless, Justa Center is located at 1001 W. Jefferson in downtown Phoenix, AZ, and provides a continuum of services to its members, including veteran advocacy and medical care. Since its inception, Justa Center staff have moved approximately 3,000 people into permanent housing.
Reverend Ritchey leaves a bright legacy and will be sorely missed by all whose lives he has touched in his near decade at Justa Center. The Governing Board is now beginning recruitment for the next Executive Director of Justa Center, who will participate in short and long-term program planning and have oversight of all fundraising efforts. Interested parties should direct all inquiries to Justa Center Administrator Susan Lewis.
