Karcher Rolls Into ProMat with Three New Industrial Sweepers

Karcher North America, a subsidiary of the Karcher group – a worldwide leader in innovative cleaning solutions – announced today they will unveil three new emissions-free ride-on floor sweepers at the upcoming ProMat 2015 Show, March 23 – 26, 2015, at McCormick Place South in Chicago, IL, in booth 4576. The KM 105/110 R Bp, KM 130/300 R Bp and KM 150/500 R Bp will make cleaning floors in industrial facilities, manufacturing plants and logistics centers easier.
“We’re excited to introduce a new line of battery-powered sweepers at ProMat,” says Steve Bowie, EVP of Sales. “This is the first phase of Karcher’s commitment in expanding our industrial cleaning solutions footprint in North America.”
Karcher’s new battery-powered sweepers can be configured to meet a variety of cleaning applications, and they offer numerous patented innovations. Some of these innovations include: hydraulic forward drive for improved maneuverability, turning 360 degrees in hallways; a crescent-shaped side brush that engages automatically when turning corners, cleaning in one pass; and TACT, a filter cleaning process that blows air through the machine’s filter, cleaning it of contaminates and ensuring a high level of filtration.
Karcher’s commitment to innovation is especially evident in the KM 150/500 and the KM 105/110. While the KM 150/500 – the largest battery sweeper in its class in North America – provides large scale emission-free cleaning, the KM 105/110 sweeper features the KIK (Kärcher Intelligent Key) operator system that allows operators, facility managers and maintenance technicians to use a selectable range of functions for different cleaning needs. Its convenient display panel shows important information at a glance: operating hours worked, upcoming maintenance intervals, state of wear for the roller brush and more. This sweeper also has a roller brush positioned directly on the rear axle. This ensures ground contact at all times when operating on inclines or uneven surfaces for better cleaning performance. The KM 105/110 starts automatically in a wear resistant efficiency mode, ideal for routine cleaning, and in all operating modes, a sensor-controlled electronic system adjusts the brush, maintaining the best possible ground contact before each trip. To simplify maintenance, the sweeper roller is easily replaced without tools. All sweepers include a wide range of available accessories such as full and partial cabs, light kits, seats and a variety of cleaning brushes.
