Stilettos In The Garden will be amongst the musicians and artists in the 19th Ward’s Porch Party, sharing their talents in this all-day event.
Rochester, NY, July 31, 2015 –(PR.com)– Felicia Bennett will be showcasing her Stilettos In The Garden as part of the 19th Ward’s Porch Party Sunday, August 9. During the event, musicians and artists will share their talents porchside, as neighbors stroll throughout the day.
Bennett, who refers to herself as a “horticulturist in heels,” creates miniature gardens of succulents and flowering annuals inside of high heels and rain boots. “It’s truly a combination of my two passions: shoes and flowers,” she states.
The 19th Ward in the Southwest quadrant is the largest neighborhood of the city, consisting of West Avenue, Genesee Street, Scottsville Road to the Erie Canal. It is home to approximately 22,000 residents. With tree-lined streets and proud home ownership, many areas are currently in the process of being designated as historic districts on the National Register of Historic Places.
