NMI Adds to Management Team

Dec. 28, 2006 – (Harleysville, PA – December 2006) – The Natural Marketing Institute (NMI), the leading market research and business consulting firm specializing in health, wellness and sustainability, has added Greg Stephens, RD and Linda Povey to its management team. Both will serve as Vice Presidents of Strategic Consulting.

Prior to joining NMI, Greg served as Vice President for Nurture, Inc. where he was responsible for sales, marketing, clinical research and regulatory affairs supporting Nurture’s portfolio of value-added nutritional products. Prior expertise includes a progressive series of management positions through 20 years with the Ross Nutritional Products Division of Abbott Laboratories. Greg received his B.S. in Human Nutrition from Georgia State University and is a Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association. In his new role, Greg will provide consulting and market research expertise to existing NMI clients as well as focus on new business development within the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical marketplace.

Linda’s career in strategic planning, brand development, market research and marketing spans more than 20 years. Her consumer expertise includes marketing, research and consulting for such companies as The Body Shop, World Wildlife Fund, The United Way, The Limited, The Bombay Company and The United Nations. She also served as Director of Marketing for IKEA where she was instrumental in transforming them from a European up-start to one of the most successful retailers in the country. Linda received a B.A. in Art History and Political Science from Ithaca College and is a Professor of Brand Strategy and Account Planning at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Linda will work with existing clients in providing strategic consulting and market research guidance as well as expanding NMI’s client base.
