“It is truly a victory for our minority that same-gender commitments are now being recognized in Arizona and in so many states across the nation,” says RainbowWeddingNetwork co-founder Cindy Sproul. “Regardless of the pending Supreme Court decision, this is an historic time in America, and a time to celebrate, for all citizens to actively & enthusiastically join together and envision the next steps for the LGBT community in the Phoenix area as well as throughout the country. The more cohesive our community becomes, the sooner we’ll achieve lasting equality throughout the nation.” Rainbow Wedding Network’s ‘Same Love, Same Rights’® Gay & Lesbian Wedding Expo is a timely resource for same-sex couples who were recently engaged, those anticipating a favorable ruling from the Supreme Court, as well as singles, advocates and allies who support equal rights in marriage.
