This week “Hidden in the Heartland” received its first Production Company Network Television interest during a pitch meeting in Beverly Hills. “It’s a compelling story.” Kels Goodman said, Producer of the Pilot. “The show is based on hard evidence with perspectives from a diverse collective of people, many of whom are not of the Mormon faith.” Goodman, who has found success in numerous film projects, hopes to add “Hidden in the Heartland” to his list of green lit projects.

Beverly Hills, CA, May 12, 2015 –(PR.com)– Producer Kels Goodman has spent the last year documenting the historical facts surrounding the Book of Mormon, the literary foundation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, more commonly referred to as Mormons.

Goodman and his production company, Tier 2 Media have created an intriguing new television series Pilot called, “Hidden in the Heartland,” that explores controversial evidence both in support of and contrary to the Book of Mormon’s validity by enlisting research and opinions from archeological, religion, and history experts from around the world.

“The series is comparable to the History Channels America Unearthed,” Brad Olsen, Editor and Associate Producer of the series said. “The public reception of our show teaser has been remarkable, we hope a Network will see the same potential.”

The Network Television pitch this week is one of many Goodman and Olsen hope to accomplish with the series Pilot. Goodman says he has outlined 65 additional historically based episodes for “Hidden in the Heartland” and plans to expand the series into other markets.
