Chicago, IL, April 25, 2015 –(PR.com)– A Little Italy original celebrates their 25th Anniversary. The lone surviving mom & pop restaurant on Chicago’s famed Taylor Street celebrates their 25th anniversary with a month of Sicilian-inspired classics. Starting with a kick-off “Guest Appreciation Night,” the festivities and giveaways will continue throughout the month of May.
“Reaching our 25th Milestone fills me with great pride and perspective; I know where we came from and look back at what our family along with Chef Anival and Linda built from scratch and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the love our little family owned restaurant has been shown throughout the years. The entrees inspired by family and guests, the celebrations we shared, the lives we’ve touched. It’s sounds like a cliche but at RoSal’s our guests truly do become a part of our family; our staff (many who have been with us since we opened our doors) our guests and the neighborhood my parents grew up in continues to support and motivate us. When Joe and I took over the reins from my parents 20 years ago, we could only dream we would see this day. We are looking forward to celebrating this milestone with everyone who has chosen RoSal’s to be a part of history for the past quarter century.” – Cyndi Fulco, owner.

About RoSal’s: RoSal’s restaurant is a dream imagined so many years ago by Roseanne and Salvatore Perry. Rose and Sol both grew up in Chicago’s Little Italy, just a few blocks from one another – Roseanne in her grandfather’s four-flat, at Taylor & Loomis, and Sol on Taylor & Carpenter. Sol had a butcher shop for over 20 years where the restaurant stands today. When it came time to retire, both knew they couldn’t leave the neighborhood and wanted to share their passion for food, family and friends. Although neither of them knew anything about operating a restaurant, through sweat, laughter and a few dropped pots, their dedication lead them down a path that continues to inspire us today.
The family business continues to expand in the hands of Cyndi & Joe Fulco, along with their children Alexz Rose, Joseph and Giovanna. It is more than a family-owned restaurant, it is a neighborhood institution where every dish is prepared with love. For the past 2 decades, they continue their dream through the same love of family, friends and amazingly delicious food.
