Silver Fox Heatshrink Labels and Non-Shrink Tubing Excel in Latest Tests

Silver Fox have independently tested their labels against Salt Mist Spray.

Welwyn Garden City, United Kingdom, July 30, 2015 –(– Leading UK manufacturer of labelling solutions, Silver Fox, have yet again had overwhelmingly positive feedback from independent testing laboratories in regards to Salt Mist Spray testing.

Silver Fox’s Heatshrink and Non-Shrink have been put to the test and examined for reactions to Salt Mist Spray. Silver Fox understands that their labels will often be used in demanding ‘real world’ conditions.

The outcome to these tests were very positive, with the independent testing laboratories report stating: “We performed visual inspections of the labels by comparing them with control samples provided by Silver Fox Ltd. None of the labels had been affected visually in any way and were perfectly legible at the end of the test.”

The Test conformed to the Lloyds Register Type Approval Test Specification No1, July 2013, Section 16, more commonly known as IEC600068-2-52 Test Kb Salt Mist (Cyclic). For more information on the test, please visit the Silver Fox website:

Nick Michaelson, CEO of Silver Fox, commented “These tests are expensive but, at Silver Fox, the commitment to offer the very best materials and back these up by independent tests is relentless. We are truly delighted with the feedback from the testing laboratories, and at the exceptional performance of our labels. Durable solutions save customers a lot of hassle, and our commitment to save time and money also extends to the engineer producing labels in the first place. Our strap line: TIP – Time into Profit actually came from the direct observation of a contractor working on a major project.”

Heatshrink and Non-Shrink tubing replace the need for individual ferrules. Both are printed via the Fox-in-a-Box printing kit, which gives users complete flexibility to choose from 4 lengths of label: 25mm, 50mm, 75mm and 100mm. There is no limit to the number of characters on each label.

Linked to Silver Fox’s ambition to save customers time and money with its ‘same software, same printer, same ribbon’ technology, it becomes clear why Silver Fox is so popular in industry worldwide.
