Dec. 11, 2006 – TCMIS’ release of their Target Control Manager (TCM) software, for competition shooters, in late November, is off to a good start. As of today, three units of the software have been acquired. The Freeport Junior Club, Freeport Little Club and the Freeport R&R Association have purchased the software for use at the Freeport PBA Range.
The Freeport Junior Club (www.FreeportJuniorClub.org) plans to use the software extensively for educational purposes, while the Freeport Little Club and the Freeport R&R Association (www.FreeportRevolver.com) will use the software primarily for competitions like Bullseye and PPC.
The coach of the Freeport Junior Club, Mr. Edward Botsch, said, “The TCM Turning Target Software is a great tool to help teach timing and precision for young and old alike. There are no real bounds to its educational use, only your imagination. The software can be used for both rifle or pistol and is very simple to use.”
The software’s design is to ease the programming requirements needed to setup and create competitive shooting events on ranges that utilize the Ontrak ADR1000/2100 hardware platform utilized in range targeting systems by several range development companies. The software features ease of use with simple to understand programming commands and comes with many predefined competition events for Bullseye, ISSF and Police Pistol Combat.
TCM Integrated Systems, Inc. is a privately held, 30+ year custom programming house that specializes in hardware and software solutions. “We have a proven track record in a variety of disciplines that includes Network Design, Implementation & Administration, Network/System Performance, Tuning & Troubleshooting, Computer/Computer Room Security and PC Office Automation & Integration,” says Joel Katzman, President. “But, our roots are in programming.”
