Columbus, OH, May 16, 2015 –(PR.com)– For a third season, ZipZone Canopy Tours has teamed up with the Columbus and Franklin County Metropolitan Park District to present their Forest Discovery Tours. Accompanied by a Metro Park naturalist, guests will zip from tree to tree, experiencing views inside the forest canopy while learning about the surrounding natural beauty.
“The Forest Discovery Tours not only offers the thrilling adventure that ZipZone is known for, but includes the added experience of having an environmental expert pointing out the secrets of the forest from the flora to fauna and even fungi,” said Lori Pingle, owner of ZipZone Canopy Tours.
These tours are being offered once a month through the end of the season on the following dates and times:
· May 17, 2015 – 4:00 p.m.
· June 5, 2015 – 6:00 p.m.
· July 8, 2015 – 6:00 p.m.
· August 7, 2015 – 6:00 p.m.
· September 13, 2015 – 4:00 p.m.
ZipZone’s zip lines cover 20 acres of forest from above. Five zips, plus four sky bridge climbs make for a two-hour trip. The cost for the Forest Discovery Tour is $70 per person.
The 2015 season opened March 28 and runs through November 8. Group rates, seasonal special offers and military discounts are available.
