Nov. 20, 2006 – VistaArtShow.com, an international online artist exhibition gallery, has announced the winners of its “Wildlife in Nature” artist competition. The Wildlife in Nature Exhibition is a professionally juried show for original paintings and drawings depicting wildlife, or animals in their natural surroundings.
The Grand Prize winner is Janetta Gee of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida for her painting entitled “The Courtship.” As Grand Prize winner, Gee received a $300 cash prize and the coveted “Vista” trophy. Gee also was the 5th place winner in the competition, earning her an additional cash prize. Second and third place cash prizes were claimed by Doug Bennett of Blue Springs, Missouri. The fourth place winner was Lindsey Dearnley of Bradbury Stockport, England.
“Wildlife in Nature” was juried by Russell Nelson, Associate Professor of art at Truman State University. The show will be exhibited from November 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006 at www.VistaArtShow.com
